This is the YouTube thread, not an US Politics thread. Take the debate elsewhere.

What are ye a mod now or what?.....oops, ah right I see ;)
Go easy on me now Zig, it's hardly my fault the nerves are frazzled
in the Obama supporters around here that heavens forbid I could post a you tube video
without being attacked and if you know me by now you'll know I don't
back down to ignorance and hypocrisy regardless of which thread I'm targeted on 8)

I wasn't referring to the actual video :*

That was excellent. It's a great show.

Anyone see RTÉ's HIGNFY copy last night? Only took them 20 years. They're usually copying the worst of ITV and the cretin channels within weeks. This effort was pretty cringe-inducing, from the cramped set (had the feel of a 1960s cop show with two fat detectives crammed up against each other in the front of an Anglia) to the lame captains and ill-chosen guests. (Someone from the board of the HSE? If you invite a guest like that, the idea is to take the unmerciful piss out of them, not expect them to be funny). Apart from Barry Murphy carrying off the host role very well it was watch-through-the-fingers stuff.

I saw the first in the series - is Kevin Myers still a team captain?  I reckon Kevin Myers doesn't even think Kevin Myers could possibly be funny, amusing or entertaining.  Who came up with that bright idea.

Jesus no. When I saw the trailers for it I cringed. Public Service broadcasting it ain't

Oh - I thought this was the first. Luckily I must have missed it. Yes - Kevin Myers as Ian Hislop and Mario Rosenstock as Paul Merton.

Charlie Brooker is fantastic, cuts through all the bullshit with his shows Screenwipe, Newswipe and Gameswipe. Funny funny stuff.
