QuoteMayo and Kerry will meet again in London this November, with the counties announcing an exhibition game at StoneX Stadium following their All-Ireland final encounter.

The Mayo Kerry Global Series, presented by JRL Group, will take place on Saturday, November 28th, 2026, after receiving approval from GAA Central Council.

For Mayo, the trip will mark their first appearance since winning this year's All-Ireland title, with the team facing Kerry once again in front of supporters in the English capital.

Mayo's announcement describes the fixture as their return to action following that historic victory, giving fans based in Britain an opportunity to see the champions in person.

Tickets will start at £40 for standing admission, while seated tickets are listed at £50, £60 and £75.

I was excited about this and would bring the family but seeing the tickets they are bit steep for a friendly on a small pitch  :o
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Wonder will Kobe be there. Are the Aussie Rules back in full swing in November?

This is all just a little strange.

Who is it that pays £40+ to watch a GAA-lite friendly? And why would our Association want to appeal to these types of people?

Be interesting to see who, from the two teams, travels in late November.

Gold medal whingers out in force. A chance for the diaspora to see (some of )the AI champs on their doorstep for a fraction of what it would cost to travel home to see them. This is a celebration. Flights, hotels, transfers, food etc etc....saying this should be in the WTF thread should be in the WTF thread......time to exist your bubbles

Agreed

I'm sure that Sam will be there for people to have their pictures taken too

I don't know about Kerry but there is an absolutely enormous Mayo disapora in London. It should be a great day out for all who attend

People criticizing it are the same people who can attend an intercounty game whenever they feel like it.  They're not the target audience

It's like when they had hurling at Fenway Park-almost sold out and everyone who attended loved it

Wonder what Kerry amd Mayo will get...Im sure they are on a percentage of the gate or an agreed amount.

With a small enough stadium, then profits could be at a minimum BS. Mightn't be much left after paying the two county boards.

I wonder will the game be broadcast live? Unless revenue from that comes in. Might boost it a bit.

Hello. I am one of the diaspora and I am saying it's bloody expensive.

I want to take my kids to see this and hopefully get a chance to see Clifford, Kobe and Sam and all that.

Travelling to London whether by train or driving with the air pollution charges is very expensive.

The drinks and food will no doubt be premium prices for garbage. All in it's a very expensive day out.

I don't see why this needs to be more expensive than a league game honestly. Perhaps it's the renting of the stadium.

Drom the Examiner...

Sponsored by Bohola native John Reddington's UK construction company JRL Group, the venture is very much driven by Mayo but Kerry GAA will play their part in the All-Ireland final rematch and be remunerated accordingly.

Spot on it shouldn't be more expensive than a league game and don't ashamed for calling things out as they are.

A game being played by the winners of the last 2 AIs in another country out of season shouldn't be more than a league game, ok Dougal
