Liverpool like Man City can raise their game when playing the big sides so expect a draw or loss tomorrow for the goons.

No but confidence is not where it should be and Liverpool are a good side albeit playing poorly, Liverpool making all the right sounds and are developing a siege mentality (thanks to Souness). A draw tomorrow would be a good result for Arsenal.

Some observations

- Firstly glad I called that wrong
- Awful awful first half performance and a very poor goal to give away
- Very comfortable 2nd half and Liverpool created nothing, could have played another 45 and Liverpool would created anything serious problems in that team
- Vermaelen was immense but Song was my man of the match, will be a big loss in January
- Actually glad to see Silvestre come on and Diaby - can't believe I said that
- Arshavin is mystery but glad he is an Arsenal mystery
- Have a nice run of games coming up and Arsenal could be top come end of January
- Almunia is still rubbish
