I have only seen highlights so far apart from the Brazil match which I watched live, they were lucky to get a draw against a very good Morocco side. Apart from Raphinha and Vinícius Júnior they look a very average side to be honest.

See that these water breaks are being used as ad breaks in US. Seen few instances of Assistant refs on Twitter not giving the go ahead to restart the game until broadcasters are back from breaks

Germany looked scintillating at times.

That being said, Curacao looked like a group of well meaning players against a team of elite players, which raises the issue that the expanded World Cup is likely to see some inferior teams on the biggest stage.

That being said, Curacao looked like a group of well meaning players against a team of elite players, which raises the issue that the expanded World Cup is likely to see some inferior teams on the biggest stage.

An expanded world cup might have worked if you actually had the top 48 teams but when certain teams almost get a bye to the finals then there is a problem, 6 teams from concacaf are there and another 2 got into a deciding play-off all from a federation that only really has Us and Mexico that can play. NZ pretty much just have to turn up and they are in. Likewise asia and Africa have a load of slots and below the likes of Korea or Morocco it soon gets pretty ropey.
