Got a message from a Cork friend who travelled - he was out of his head with joy.
He did say he thinks Michael Murphy could be in a bit of bother on the discipline front - gave his trademark dig to the ribs to Sheedy (who had to go off to get treatment) and it looked to be a clear striking motion,Gough did give him a yellow after but my friend did say it could have been for dissent as there was a bit of a verbal/flare-up with some of the Cork players. Might be nothing, might be something given all the talk about Murphy and Jimmy and the disciplinary system.

It's amazing Derry are level given how badly we've been cleaned in MF all our scores off turnovers!

Bar the goal we've been pretty solid defensively and look dangerous going forward... Sargent looks the part given it's his first start in Senior football!! AFAIK He hasn't even played senior club yet.

Sargent has been a breath of fresh air. We're suspect when Meath are in transition. Glass has been a passenger again in this game. CD midfield, Forbes back to half back and bring on Loughlin.
