Strange reaction to All-Ireland semi-final defeat.

DaleCooper

Umpires have awarded goals like that in past. Unfortunately they werent looking at the line.

Clearly over the line, when you account for slight camera angle. Reminder how useless hawkeye is

Peno 50/50 charging but Byrne should have tried to stand man up in that area. Think heat hurt the spectacle.

This is a disaster because The Dubs are big soccer guys and there will be clamour for VAR which would be a disaster for GAA.

Rossfan

If they tried to kick themselves they'd miss ::)
Kerry start year with a square ball goal, got another tiday.
Guess who was Ref in both games?
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

What a truly bizarre couple of statements.

BigGreenField

Is there a reason one of the umpires doesn't stay at the side of the net to look at the goal line?

The failure to call the square ball is ridiculous.

Feeling sorry for the Dubs is a left field box ion Jim Gavin's FRC bingo card.

The camera is not in line, actually behind and it still looked over. Definitely a goal.

Armagh18

2 poor semis for the neutral, lets hope Mayo can make a game of the final

Nothing to do with their 9 AIs. Half the board has spent the last 15 years crying about teams getting rode in favour of Dublin. "Dublin Joe" etc.

Turns out there's an every bigger bogey man! The power behind the power. They've executed their strategy masterfully, allowing Dublin to rack up 8 AIs before truly unleashing Clifford's Kerry on the nation. But only in Croke Park so they don't get caught, for example down in Killarney against Donegal.

Tinfoil hat gibberish.

Precisely, the camera is not in line which means you can't tell whether it was f**king over or not! There isn't daylight between the ball and the post which would allow you make such a claim.

Ah yeah against Tyrone referee moves a mark up 50 metres, a rule no longer in force and when exact same thing happens Tyrone he doesn't move it up and an umpire gives a phantom 45. On top of numerous soft frees. I get it Gallsman you're a Kerry fan.

rodney trotter

Kerry haven't been convincing in the last 2 games. A great chance for Mayo to end the curse.

Quote from: oakleafgael on July 12, 2026, 05:45:54 PMThe three big calls all went Kerrys way. Penalty, square ball and a goal not given when over the line.

Penalty was a penalty.

Square ball was badly missed.

Ball not conclusively shown to be over the line.

Ball not conclusively shown to not be over the line so which one do you go with?

Obviously you go with no goal.

For what it's worth, I reckon it probably was over, fractionally so, but lads getting on as if it's definitive proof of the Croke Park pro Kerry mafia need to have a word with themselves.

greatpoint

Dublin got all the calls after the end of normal time against Donegal, can't feel that sorry for them today
