Cawley always generous to Kerry. Will give nothing to Dublin.

Himself and Cian O'Neill two Newbridge men.

Aye against London

Or if its the last kick of the game in an AIF, with your team 2 behind, and you have a 21 yard free and you want to take the point.

Thats dark  :-X

But true.

Could never understand  that one tbh.

McCurry v Kerry as  well.

McCurry v Kerry?

That last free. Why didn't they work it outside for a two  pointer  to level the game? Yes Kerry got the goal last seconds , but  even if Tyrone  had won the kick out, they would have been unlikely to have had  time to work an equaliser

Well obviously he didn't think it was the last kick of the game ffs.

Kerry would have  fouled  Tyrone had they won the kick out. Killed the remaining time

38 seconds were left when Clifford won the kick out. More than enough time to score the equaliser if Tyrone won the kickout. With the 50m penalty for delaying frees, fouling wouldn't really waste much time. The kickout actually looked like a straight forward catch for the Tyrone player, not sure how he let it slip through to Clifford.

Quote from: SouthOfThe Bann on July 06, 2026, 12:17:10 PMCan see a repeat of the Donegal v Meath Semi this weekend.

Louth will be coming into this game full of hope but I can't see them being able to cope with Mayo's forwards.

Mayo by 10-12.

As a neutral watching ideally you want to see two good competitive semi-finals won by a point or two.

You could well be right with Louth folding like Meath last year.

I'm not totally convinced on Dublin either and Kerry was more vulnerable with the schedule against Tyrone than they will be for this game.
Don't see this Mayo team being at the level Donegal where last year going into semi final.  If Cork had of brought their shooting boots Mayo would have been gone, the standard in that game was well below any of the other quarter finals imo.  The method of victories in the Dublin, Armagh and Monaghan games should give Louth serious confidence.
Mayo are nowhere near the level of what Donegal were last year and this Louth side are a good team, definitely stronger than Meath were last year. It'll be a close one this week.

Thought Meath looked good last year up to the semi final.

They had serious options for two pointers which made them a very dangerous animal.  Sean Rafferty was also playing at a very high level in defence which didn't seem to get too this year.
