It's a wide unless the umpire sees something else to the contrary. On the ref, the least that can be expected is he knows the rules, his decision making re fouls etc is another thing altogether.

There was a defensive Tyrone touch though no, before the Kerry lad swiped at it again and tied it wide? Whatever he saw he was dreadfully positioned for it.

After 20 minutes Louth 0-6 Monaghan 0-6. Louth doing well so far with 14 men but hanging in there for 64 minutes is a tall order.
