Yep, one of those 2 for sure...

Galway are better than Dublin.

Donegal have been too inconsistent this year.

You could also say that Kerry or Louth/Cork/whoever will win the AI... I'm saying Kerry will win and I'm not sure who will give them a game. Kerry v Galway in th quarters would certainly be the most interesting outcome and possibly throw the cat among the pigeons

Captain Obvious

Dublin should have won in normal time and got the job in extra time.

Donegal four championship matches.  Lost at home to Down. Beat Kerry by 10 points in Killarney. Lost at home to Cork. Knocked out of the championship by Dublin team who themselves had lost to Westmeath,Louth in Croke Park and their manager who wanted the game played in Parnell Park.

I think McGuinness will go too, I remarked during the game he didn't look his normal highly animated self. I dont think he's a long term builder like McGeeney, but who knows.

Tyrone are waiting watching this all unfold...

This is the point where the Tyrone brigade emerge to remind everyone how their Kerry's bogey team  ::)

Terrible game between two struggling teams. Donegal looked leggy from the outset and Dublin were barely any better.

Kerry yes.

Doubt Dublin are going much further.  Next week will be Dublins 3rd match in 14 days add in extra time today and Con O'Callaghan sure to miss out with a muscle injury.

Cork,Galway  or Tyrone should beat them next weekend.

If kerry get galway tomorrow could be good 1/4 final but after that i would fear a cake walk for kerry

blanketattack

Louth to get to the All-Ireland final if they avoid Kerry in the draw tomorrow and semi-final.

I think Mc Guinness burns teams out and you can see that today.

They looked very tired and jaded in the heat.

In old rules its likely Donegal would have won Sam last year imo.

They failed to adapt to the new reality. Monaghan have scored Donegals total 2ptrs in 7 mins.

Expect them to win this at home.

I'm not so sure it's burnout, so much as players inevitably begin to question this training / playing style before too long, unless it is clearly reaping dividends.

There is no chance any of them came out of the AI final last year thinking "this is the way" for Jimmy's way.

DaleCooper

Huge hit. Exciting game.

As to Jimmys way in the modern era its extremely difficult for a managers brainwashing to hold. He would have them convinced they would win sam and only need to do XYZ [reduce life expectancy by 5 years].

Monaghan 0-8 Westmeath 1-5. Beggan probably should have done better on that goal.

Beggan not good on that 2nd Westmeath goal.  2-7 to 0-13
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose
