Based on?  They only beat Louth and Cavan with the last kick of the game

There are a number of teams in that division are very poor including Meath, Offaly, Louth, Cavan...
Meath lost All Ireland semi-final to Donegal by 20 points last year and Leinster final to a poor Louth team albeit was a great occasion but dreadful standard of football.

Word I'd use is inconsistent than poor. Meath was a prime example of that last year with wins against Dublin,Kerry,Galway then losing the Leinster final and not performing at all in the All-Ireland semi-final.

A actual Poor Louth team played in Division 3,4 a few years ago.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Dublin are poor. Do you really believe Meath would have beaten Kerry or Galway or indeed Dublin in a must win game where loser exits the whole All Ireland competition?
20 points in an All Ireland semi-final is quite a tanking.

Galway game was All-Ireland Quarter-final where they made their exit. Don't perform in a semi you'll receive a tanking.

I stand corrected on Galway game. That's poor show! Anyway I still don't rate Meath at all. Leinster not great these days.

Louth 3 up at half time, early goal the difference. Tyrone playing against a really strong wind in first half. Bit of a dust up going off the field at the short whistle.

Meath down by 7 at HT, were they playing against the wind?

Sounds like another shocking performance from Tyrone...still down by 3 with 10 to play. Missing simple chances and playing with a huge breeze. Don't deserve promotion at this stage

Div 3 not out of realms of possibility.

Blowitupref

Big win for Louth, far from poor as labelled earlier today on this thread. FT Louth 1-15 Tyrone 0-13

Yeah I had fancied Louth to take Meath. On their day a tough team & had Gavin Devlin riling them up

Quote from: Truthsayer on February 21, 2026, 06:58:16 PMSome very poor Leinster teams in that division. The naysayers from Tyrone who suggested Tyrone could get relegated ffs!..
