Quote from: imtommygunn on July 04, 2026, 09:06:17 PMThat was entertaining... that goalie will be sore about that! Awful balls up.

Both the hurlers and ladies footballers making things way more complicated than they needed to be.

Both were trying to regain confidence in their respective squads. Both were looking to hard at overcoming one opponent and took their eyes off of the rest.

All of the questions, and scorching hot-takes, that followed Cork
out of Croke Park
last July were bound to leave a trail of smoke, long after the fire. Cork have spent the last six months coming up with answers on a case-by-case basis, none of which could address the ultimate question.

So, after 50 weeks of wondering how Cork would recover from a defeat that threatened to annihilate them, the mended fracture will be tested at its breaking point. With no disrespect to Offaly, this is the first game since last year's All-Ireland final in which Cork have no safety net or access to a reset. The pressure that O'Connor has cultivated since the start of the year is out of his hands now.

Just my TV or is the picture/coverage poor for others?  Seems to be just BBC. Wanted to avoided Ger Canning.

DaleCooper

Great stuff hope Clare can keep up the INTENSITY. Shane OD dancing point brilliant and Lohan has stolen ball twice.

Black card for Hayes blatant foul?

seafoid

14 points to 9 Clare in front.

Blowitupref

Strong showing by the underdogs Half-time Clare 0-16 Limerick 0-11.  Two important scores to finish out the half for Limerick
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

tonto1888

First time at a hurling semi final. Thoroughly enjoying it. Good to see Clare leading. Expect Limerick to come back second half. Anyone know why lynch didn't start?

seafoid

1 point game now. 9 minutes without a Clare score.

DaleCooper

Big let off there, may have turned into goal chance. stritch fluffed first touch

Clare 3 up...

Blowitupref

That goal should stand and a black card for the Limerick keeper.

Instead a yellow and a penalty. Penalty  scored. 56 minutes Clare 1-19 Limerick 0-16
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Wildweasel74

Thats the worst call i seen.

DaleCooper

Huge call..he did confer with his team. Kelly nailed it thank god!

Cian Lynch on to try and save the day

cavanmaniac

That refereeing was some cop out, saved by the fact Kelly buried the peno.

Wildweasel74

That was a deliberate take out, saying he hadnt the ball under control is balls, Duggan flipped it over him, to go onto.
