Henry Shefflin has been appointed Kilkenny U20 manager for next year.
His backroom team looks strong too. Brian Hogan would be good enough to manage outright.
The other selectors like Sean Kelly, Richie O'Neill and James Gittens are well spoken of.

If it goes well, it could rehabilitate Henry's reputation in the county. He was a long way off being let near the senior job, but it could come within sight.

Fair point, but looking back at the AI Cork imploded and probably gave a false impression of Tipp. Don't get me wrong they were well able to take advantage of it and push on for the win. Just think that implosion completely changed the narrative.

It will be interesting to see how Tipp kick on from this, work to do for KK either way.

TJ is all but gone, and KK do have a serious set of forwards as individuals, the problem Lyng has is that the traditional style of going direct with the forwards capable of winning their own ball is that teams can now counteract that and hold possession much better than Kilkenny do who still struggle to work the ball through the lines means they are easily stifled.

The culture in Kilkenny club hurling does seem to be changing though going by the few games I've watch the last few years.
