Meath will give them plenty to worry about

Rafferty will obviously take up Murphy. Kickouts still a problem. Menton and probably grey in midfield. Morris will be watched very closely.
Won't be a 7 point defeat by any means. But for such a young team this may be a bridge too far this year. But the good news is once the cb don't eff it up again Meath will have their all Ireland in the next couple of years

Not sure Rafferty is going to pick up Murphy, really depends on where Murphy is playing. We'll keep Rafferty closer to goal and if Murphy comes out to midfield someone else will track him.

We might go with Menton, O'Neill and Gray (if he has the fitness) all starting similar to having Jones as a 3rd midfielder/ball winner in the league.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Hard to see anything but a Donegal win here.

Meath are in bonus territory now. I can't see them having much chance.

You must be raging with all the Meath wins. Hope the laptop not badly damaged. Keep drinking them pints of bitter.  ;D  ;D  ;D

I don't get the dismissals of Meath here. Even if you grant that Dublin were poor and Kerry already through, does their display against Galway not buy them any credibility going into this match, especially having seen the number Monaghan did on Patton for the last 10 minutes of the first half?

Galway had injury problems, were misfiring at stages and were still unlucky not to win.

I have been at every Galway championship game this year apart from New York.
Genuinely, Roscommon at home was the only time we put in any semblance of a consistent performance & Roscommon were atrocious. If we somehow scraped through yesterday - ye would have beaten us out the gate.
The reality is Galway this year just weren't at it - so I wouldn't be judging any team on beating us.
Donegal are on a completely different level to the likes of Galway and Meath this year in my opinion.
This isn't sour grapes from yesterday either by the way - Meath more than deserved the win.

Fair assessment. I thought you looked ponderous at times. Is Joyce too conservative for that Galway team? Given your calibre of forwards I would have thought he'd be more direct. At times Cooke slowed it right down to a walking pace.

Not surprising. Since you wrote the exact same thing when we played Kerry. And exactly the same thing before Galway match.
How do you think your own Kildare will do against limerick?

Whats your problem with me giving an opinion on a match. Most of the country would have given the same prediction as did most on here. Yet you only pull me up on it.

There is a thread for the Tailteann Cup elsewhere. This is for the AI semi final.
