"Based on the findings of the Game Intelligence Unit and the insights gleaned from this data, the FRC will be able to propose modifications to the rule enhancements on an ongoing basis throughout the 2025 season if required and that work will continue going forward through the Games Intelligence Unit."

Watching Derry Kerry and thinking some of the patches of play will be fantastic in a Championship setting with a big crowd in. Beginning to think 3 points for a goal isn't a big enough incentive when the two pointer is handier worked - which would be an unwanted outcome.

From listening to James horan, they can propose changes at any time, but are likely to wait until the league is over before proposing tweaks.

Are Malachy O'Rourke and Michael Murphy still committee members?
I presume they've moved away to avoid any perceptions of bias when it comes to tweaks etc.

If we are going to keep the 3 up top then ditch the 2 pointer if there's space inside teams will try work the goal. 2 pointer terrible, in the Galway game they got a free for 3 not being up even though the 3rd mayo player was no where near the play. Galway took the free from the arc and 2 points, makes a mockery of football

If a man is fouled on say the opposition 20 has the free taker the option of taking it from the arc or is that only for dissent or 3 up/back?

They are no longer on the committee. Peter Canavan and Maurice Deegan replaced them on the FRC.

Heard since that after he blew for the foul, the linesman told him there'd been an infraction of the 3 up by Louth just beforehand.
Ref then gave the free for that enabling Diarmuid to go to the arc.
