M1 crash causes major tailbacks 
 
An accident on the M1 in Belfast is causing major tailbacks of traffic heading into the city.

A police spokesperson said traffic on the road stretched back as far as Lisburn.

Motorists heading into Belfast are advised to leave the motorway at the Saintfield Road junction.

The spokesperson also asked drivers travelling on the M1 out of Belfast to stay in their vehicles and refrain from slowing down to look at the accident.
