How much would Utd get for berbatov if he went on the market this summer. I think he does not suit us and he is turning out to be Utd's Shevchenko. A pity because he is a class act talent wise but just will not work for Utd.  :-\

Despite his recent showings and Robbie Fowler always making a tit of him, Gary Neville was a class act. Always lauded as a United hero more for his love of them club, always felt his footballing contribution was undervalued.

I agree Corn. I'd have taken Gary Neville to Liverpool in a heartbeat. Very underrated.

And I like the fact that the club he plays for means so much to him, even if it is United, and he hates Liverpool. Fair play to him I say.

Let me qualify this post by saying i think Gary Neville is a grade A p*ick, but football is all the better for having players playing for their team when it means something to them, Carragher, Gerrard, Giggs, Scholes etc. Football at the highest level is becoming more a business venture than "sport" and i know plenty of fans that are becoming more and more detached from it for this reason.

You'd be lucky to get half price - he's been shown up to be a lazy sod who isn't fitting in. If he doesn't fit in at United under Ferguson, there's little chance of him being attractive to others.

What do you think Ferguson said to him ( or thought of saying to him after "that" penalty ) ?.

Good job he wasn't around at the champions league final !

You would be lucky to get £15 million for Berba now, very lucky.

Pity Hound isnt a PL manager, I would say he would pay £40million or more for him :-\

You would still get £25 million easy.

But, more importantly, there is more chance of Ronaldo going to Liverpool this summer than Berbatov beeing sold.

Agree and another point is the players you have named are never on the front pages of the newspapers (apart from SG's affair and that was a mountain out of a molehill)  The players that love their clubs are true professionals and we need more of them. Youth academies are the source.

Not a chance would Fergie sell him after one season, even Veron lasted longer.

You are right I think he will not be sold either but wish he was. I just can't see it working at Utd for him but I would love to be wrong. Fergie will give him another season.

Well he couldn't play any worse than he is at the minute, maybe just needs a good run of games.

I am disappointed that United have been put out of the FA Cup two years running now as the result of poor calls by the officials - last year against Portsmouth United had a stonewall penalty denied and again against Everton yesterday.  Maybe Rio is right, but why shouldn't United start crying and moaning about not receiving correct decisions like every other Tom, Dick and Harry does!  Maybe I am wrong though, and Danny Welbeck rounded the keeper, looked at the open goal and thought 'Nah, I think I might tumble here as it will be easier to score the penalty!'.
'To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal, light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle.'

corn02

Swings and roundabouts NRico, United certainly get the rub of the green too. Just the other week Porto had a stonewall penalty not given.

Fullback. Yes I do, especially if he goes to somewhere like Madrid. United would not sell him for under £25 million - they won;t sell him at all actually.

Abble

anyone have a youtube of fergies reaction after utd got their penalty decision turned down ? he's definitely lost it that fella

full back

Wouldnt complain too much about the penalty
It was a penalty but as corn says swings & roundabouts

Dont think anyone would pay £25 million in the current climate & with the form of Berbatov.
Although as you say he wont be sold. Fergie doesnt really like being made out to be wrong so he will hold on to players for far longer than he does, ala Djemba Djemba, Kleberson etc

Add John Terry to that list.
That's what I can't understand the criticism of some of these players. These lads show the attitude that we wish all professional footballers to display. I hate them all too, but stick them in a Chelsea jersey and things change.

However I do admire them.
