I think I could get a game in that back four for Utd.

Going to plan in Europe so far. Still letting teams take the lead. As minder suggests the defence is ropey and has been in every game this season. How highly rated is the young scouser that came into centre back tonight for Evans?

You'd have to really fear for United tomorrow.
Ba and Cisse could have a field day against that defence.
United have been very poor in any game I have seen this season.
Everton played them off the pitch as did Liverpool who should really have won even Southampton should probably have got at least a point.
Were also poor v Spurs last week and they also haven't exactly been setting the Champions League alight.
3-1 to Newcastle I reckon.

Captain Obvious

Manchester United are having a field day against that Newcastle defence.

Now that was a good performance....................good to see it, tight at the back and could have had four in the first 15, United never allowed to settle and at times Newcastle were chasing shadows.

Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

Over the Bar

at best a wrist or forearm, never an elbow.

The Worker

3 game ban looming for van persie, bit of a blow for utd.

No action over RVPs thuggery, shocker -

Surely in these instances, the referee (already embarrassed by missing the initial incident) should not be the person to assess the incident.

That isn't even including the fact that it is Howard the Red.

It really is some shameful shit.

Beyond the pale.
