So 1 point away from yet another successful season, this years league title will possibly be the sweetest of the lot not only because it's "19" but because they were written off by some many the so called experts.

Sounds like fergie is going to pick a strong team for tomorrows game & just like Chelsea game last weekend United have the opportunity to right the wrongs of last season.

P.S Fergie got another silly FA fine today..you just have to laugh  :D

Apologies, I actually previously was a Man U fan.

But I have a few questions - Over the last few years I havr recently have become totally bored to death with soccer, it irritates me seeing grown men wearing soccer jerseys, local people chanting songs in English accents in local bars, in general i have become totally bored of the game and when MOTD comes on I turn it over

Or when talking people say 'WE' done well today referring to Man U, Pool etc

I truly have lost interest, this happened after Utd won the league and i thought this actually isnt gonna have one affect on me or my life.

Fergie must have really pissed somebody in the FA off big time :D  This is a complete joke. ::)

QuoteFA charges Ferguson over referee Howard Webb comments

E-mail this to a friend Printable version  Ferguson is on the cusp of winning Man Utd a record 19th league title Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association for comments about referee Howard Webb.

The comments in question were made in the build-up to the 2-1 Premier League win over Chelsea on 8 May.

Even though Ferguson spoke positively about Webb, he broke FA rules which state that no manager should speak about a referee prior to a match.

The Old Trafford club's manager has until 1600 BST on 16 May to respond.

Ferguson's side beat Chelsea 2-1 last Sunday to move within a point of securing a record 19th title with two games to spare.

But two days before the game - which would have seen Chelsea top the table had they won - Ferguson spoke about Webb at a news conference.

"We are getting the best referee, there is no doubt about that," he said at the time.

"But [getting a bad decision] is definitely our big fear.

"We have the players to do it all right. We just hope it's our turn for a little bit of luck."

Ferguson only recently returned to the dug-out after a five-game ban and £30,000 fine for his criticism of referee Martin Atkinson following a 2-1 defeat at Chelsea in March.

He is unlikely to be banned again but the FA's action is further proof they are determined to implement their Respect Campaign.

The FA charge comes a day before United's trip to relegation-battling Blackburn as Ferguson's side aim to wrap up the Premier League title before they play in the Champions League final on 28 May.

Ferguson's news conference ahead of the trip to Ewood Park had already taken place before the FA announced its charge against him.

And the United manager said: "It is most important we approach this game in the right way.

"This is always a difficult game. Blackburn probably need another point to stay in the Premier League and we will not be underestimating them."

Yeah seems the money they get and effort that some of the players put in when they are diving and squealing about as if someone shot them has put me off it too, the media have to take some of the blame also as it's well over hyped IMHO.

My dad got me into supporting Man United when i was a nipper, went to loads of games and at some point i lost some interest :( it may come back, it may not
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

So a former United fan now feels the need to post "scum" videos interesting.. nothing wrong with getting bored or losing interest in something, afterall it happens in all walks of life. the whole "WE, US" thing has been well documented on this & other threads before & i don't feel the need to cover old ground.

gallsman

Because they can do so in the knowledge that the three most recent posters before me will always bite?

Blowitupref

I'd say Non-United fans post on this thread because it's nearly always at page one & they wonder what all the fuss is about (i do get caught up in it myself) Gallsman TBH your also known to give the occasionally bite.

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

In order for me to bite, someone would have to be fishing.
