Cavan tried to play football. Derry were handpassing like there was no tomorrow.

I said it after the Cavan game that knowing Tyrone they'll probably go on to win the All-Ireland now.  Their performance tonight in the 2nd half was as good as you'll likely see at this grade, their ability to turn the ball over as good as any senior team.

Tier 1

All-Ireland Quarter-finals on the first weekend in June.

Roscommon v Ulster runner up
Galway v Ulster winner
Kildare v Kerry
Meath v Cork

An error strewn performance from Tyrone minors this evening. Tyrone dominant in the middle third, but left a ton of scores behind...
high ceiling if they can improve their score efficacy

Main Street

It could be time to retire Peter the Great to stud and line up nubile Tyrone women to be impregnated before Peter's seed begins to deteriorate.

Poor bit if scheduling today with the westmeath cavan game and tyrone kerry u20 game throwing it at the exact same time.  Even if one had of been at 4 or 5.30

I'm still sickened every time I think back on it. It was probably harder to lose that game, but when it comes to finding ways to lose championship matches to Tyrone, nobody does it better than Cavan.

No guarantee we'd have beaten Derry, mind. Tyrone navigate underage finals like it's a birthright, Cavan youngsters would likely (and understandably) have been a bag of nerves.
