Quote from: Orior on July 27, 2026, 05:35:48 PMI see that last week the lovely lovely Carla Loveheart went to meet some pupils of Boys Model in North Belfast. While there, she told them that Catholics fare much better because they use education and have one religion, one sport and one political party. I would love to hear what the headmaster thought of Carla's performance. Perhaps she would have been better telling the boys to stop building massive bonfires and read a book.

It feels like she believes all of "them 'uns" sat down together years ago and said let's get educated and then we'll be better than them.  Maybe look after your own house first Carla...

It's embarrassing that she felt the need to state the bleeding obvious, in that, education works, there are still ding bats on both sides but the gurning is awful.. as for one sport, that's bollocks, from soccer to basketball to athletics and whatever else it's sad that using that as a stick to fuel division is a bad look on the Model to allow that..
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Most of the stuff she comes out with is most likely disingenuous crap to get votes. Either that or she's stupid. Neither of them are good options. A vile bigot.

It's definitely both. But it works in that part of the world.

DUP are panicking looking at the TUV coming fast up the inside shoulder. Hence this past year, they're attacking everything Irish.

Strange thing is on the recent poll is I thought most of their vote slipage would go to the TUV but I see the UUP, under Burrows, has picked up a bit of that slack. He's drfting into DUP Lite terrority now with some of his statements.

So the DUP are under pressure from both unionist flanks now.

Burrows I presume you mean.

Stupid question, but are there any material differences in any of the three policy wise?

No real differences policy wise other than who can shout 'No Surrender' the loudest....

SF are in docile mode as no-one is more expert in shitting on Unionism than Unionists and Westminster
Its a battle of hearts and minds going forward while Unionism continues its long campaign against minds
