Let people be what they want to be, it won't have too much burden on your lives and if it comes to your door don't close it in their face..

Young ones are different now, I've really had to change my approach when these subjects come up in the house, as we are from a different generation and only coming to terms with these new terms.

If someone wants to identify as non binary then let them

I'm not sure if the link to this is social media, in that it has allowed knowledge of these new genders to be labeled and accepted more.. But not too long ago during punk or the fashion trends of the early 80's people were not afraid to be who they wanted to be
