Quote from: Hereiam on April 15, 2026, 11:46:05 AMHydrogen is a long way off from practical use as the fact it has to be stored under high pressure and then this is transferred to the machine under pressure as well means there is too much risk involved for the public to use it.

For numerous reasons, hydrogen is safer than petrol.

At least they've spoken out. Bound to be serious pressure on Mehole from his TD's who know they're not getting voted back in.  Shame none had the balls to vote against him yesterday.

They shat on their hands and clapped.

They have either admitted they are in the wrong party or admitted nobody listens to them, or both. There is no policy break, just a wah wah.

Fuel price protests in Ireland almost brought the country to a halt last week, leading the government to call in the army to reopen highways and ports and to announce €505mn worth of fuel subsidies.

Like George Lee, but without the need to shave.

Ballygawley the night again.  Never saw a poor farmer yet, but I am starting to see a few who get their kicks these days from their social media presence.

Slurry tank emptied on the road.

Video going around showing a young lad getting out of a car and opening it for a laugh, farmer wouldn't have been aware.

You need to get out and open your eyes then. Comments like this sicken my hole. Farmers range from the poverty line to millionaires and not all agree with these protests.

How did he know it was full of slurry and who goes on a protest with a load of slurry in the tanker considering the price of fuel?

Doesn't really matter who opened it, it was someone at the protest that did it. If he knew how to operate it then he is almost certainly a farmer himself. Very dangerous.

Going on the flow that the video showed I'd say it was stuff left in the bottom of the tank. There would have been a lot more pressure if he had a full tank.

According to Irish patriots , protesters have started to take their own lives (government has blood on their hands), surely this is made up ?
