my god. the referee in Brigids/Pearses game is brutal. Pearses player dragged down by 2 players get free given against him  >:(

Officiating in the hurling even worse.

Eoin Kelly held a man down, hit two clear punches to the head in front of the umpire = two yellow cards.
Was going to go onto the Hurling page to comment on this. Eoin Kelly should without doubt have got a straight red.

Definite red. Seems to be no offence in hurling that gets a red these days.

Is it not a red for interfering with the helmet too? He ripped it straight off the man too. Was it not podge Collins that got a red for that a few years ago?

Knockmore in with a good shout here. Very impressive today and if they were more clinical would have won with a good bit to spare. They should be going for those goal chances though. Two good chances fell today to lads well capable of hitting the net and only got 1 point from the 2.

I stuck €2O on the draw .  I see Mun finished with 14.  Vincent's next big game v Ulster champs in March .

Lomans will be strong assuming they come through Westmeath and Leinster 1/4 final. Sarsfields are a good young team too but probably a bit short on really top quality players, I'd expect them to make the Leinster final and be competitive.

By all accounts it was the diarmuid Connolly show, if he gets injured Vincent's are fucked. Only for the sending off ballymun probably would have won

I was at it. Huge crowd, but very little athmosphere. Big portion of the crowd were non-Dubs. Connolly was excellent. All his points were difficult kicks, and the first one was outrageous, one of the best scores I've ever witnessed. The red card was a big factor, and Whelan was moving well. But Davey Byrne's black card was maybe a bigger factor. Both were correct decisions from the ref, who I thought was very good. Ballymun missed two goal chances early on too.
Vincent's will be favourites for any game they play, but I think on a given day either Jude's or Loman's could beat them (should they meet them). But, they probably will win Leinster.
