Ballyboden well beat by crokes tonight

Very poor AI champions. Commercials should be champions right now.
A very poor side doesn't win Dublin,Leinster and hammer your opponents in the All Ireland final.

Bolded for you.

Tinge of jealousy or regret maybe?. Boden could and maybe even should have been beaten twice or 3 times last year but they weren't and they won the whole thing. On each occasion they stuck at it and played the games out to the finish. Good luck to them. Such is the strength of Dublin football I think they were 4th or 5th favorites for the Dublin championship on 18th March - a day after they won the AI.

Yesterday was no real surprise - be interesting now to see who wins it. For me its hard to call between Vincents, Ballymun and crokes

Couldn't give two hoots about Ballyboden. Just a poor champion all-round.

They beat everyone they had to beat and their all-Ireland was won the same way as any other year, by beating anyone who stood in their way. You're entitled to your opinion, but in my eyes there are no poor champions, just champions. And it's great to see first time winners too. Hopefully we will see it again next March.

Syf,I see you are displaying your vast knowledge of gaelic football with a statement like that
Syf has very little credibility left. His countymen on the sheep forum don't give him the time of day

Well if they were willing to indulge Mayo by putting the game back a week the least they could have done was given home advantage to Tourlestrane.

I'm inferring that. Connacht is the only site that doesn't specifically list the venue.

Its still amusing to me that a few people can't see the difference between actual opinions - free of the gombeenism and unwillingness to say what they really think that infects the posts of some - and trolling. Keep it up.

AZ , what`s holding up the Football Championship in Waterford ?

AZOffaly

The hurling I think. The football is going to be run off in a matter of days apparently.

Read on the Western People today that the game would be in Markievicz Park. If it went to a replay it would also be in Markievicz.

Commercials were very comfortable against a disappointing Rovers , can easily up another gear and have a serious bench . Ballyporeen overdependent on Conor Sweeney who got nearly all their scores ! Kilsheelan have some decent players but missing some too through injury , if the rest of the Ballyporeen Forwards had a bit more composure they could have won it . Loughmore were 16 points up at half time , they are the only Team left that can put it up to Commercials !
