The idea is that nipples should be SFW. Not possible imo.

Reminds me of a documentary I came across one night years back on US tv. Think it was Discovery Health or something.

They were showing footage of a breast augmentation operation. Fairly graphic, lots of blood, scalpels and the rest, with the cut-open breast and internal tissue being shown. And there, at the same time, hovering like a ghost on the screen, was a f**king blurred-out nipple! God forbid any child or pious christian tuned in and saw a nipple! ;D

They'd better have a word with their own webmaster then. The trailer page shows the nipples pixellated.

I think women think male and female nipples are no different.

I have to say would have thought that this was a load of feminist nonsense until the wife started breastfeeding.
Its disgraceful the attitude of some people towards breastfeeding, which IMO should a basic right of every child. Women frequently get abused and asked to stop. On the one hand you have the religious conservative cover up types who think that it is disgusting and some sort of showboating. Then on the other hand you have the douchebag type who thinks... "whooa there's a boob fellas do you think that she would let me have a suck on it when the baby is done".

These two attitudes funnily enough have similar roots, the former can be traced directly to the reformation and counter reformation when skin had to covered up and even something as natural as breastfeeding became faux pax. There are dozens, probably hundreds of paintings with the Blessed Virgin breastfeeding the baby Jesus prior to this period that where locked away by the church at this time. The later attitude can be traced to the relaxation of this puritanical attitude in a sexual direction. Since everything that was covered up on the body was seen as sexual then the increased exposure of these area throughout the 20th century have made the breast in particular very sexualised.

Thankfully there is a new attitude  towards breastfeeding in public becoming more acceptable, the church to their credit have weighed in with Pope Francis encouraging mothers to breastfeed at mass, which I have frequently seen, now the next step would be to get all those old paintings out into the churches again.
