Did Mone get a black and then walk in and stand on the goalline there?  ???

I don't think he actually left the field at all.
Nordie Tayto is shite

J70

He stood beside the post with one foot off the field.

Not surprised at all, Dublin will put manners on these bucks

I hope/think you're right.

Fair fucks to Monaghan.  They were not playing well but dragged themselves back into it and deserved it in the end.

Main Street

Naturally delighted with the win and the intense  performance from the 2nd half onwards but Kildare should have been out of sight before half time. I know we won, but half of it was Kildare losing it.
If we bring the intensity of the 2nd half  to the 1/4 final we might give Dublin a game but unfortunately we are lacking consistency.

I was shouting at the screen. Vinny take your point ....  take the point...  take the poi....... GREAT GOAL. That was a game changer and  gave focus to the recovery.

J OGorman

Mone walked off the pitch. Wasn't standing on the goal line.  Unreal commitment from both teams. The blocking from both in the 2nd half of ET was first class.
Alot of sore boys tomorrow.

Wouldn't it be something if Monaghan really put it up to the professionals at their home ground? ;-)

Time to stick the life savings in the paddy power account and bet on Dublin for a handy £50

Admit it, you're happy because it makes your lot look better.

Captain Obvious

Well done to Monaghan the long wait for a championship win in Croke park is over.

Nah, not really.  I don't think you can read a whole lot into opponents' results in that manner. Meath hammered Kildare for most of their game for christ's sake, while you beat Armagh.

Main Street

Leinster teams took a pasting today on Black Saturday.
Armagh emphatically outclassed Meath with a better quality football and Monaghan out-gutted Kildare.

Stand up for the ulster men.  What's the best represented province in the next round?
