Thought the Ros/Leitrim match looked very slow and laboured on Tg4 last nite compared to the Mayo/Galway game.

Mayo sucked up some more Ros blood for the panel recently. Starting FB Seamus Cunniffe is back on the panel after getting dropped earlier in the year. Someone's worried about their defence.

8 Connacht minor finals in the last 9 years for us. So far its 3 wins & 4 defeats. In truth 2009,2008,2007 finals were games we could/should have won. Remarkable turnaround the last decade at this grade and credit to all those involved hopefully the good work continues however our U-16s results have regressed in recent years and is a cause for concern.

As for Sunday stopping Mayo from scoring goals will probably be key to winning this Connacht title we couldn't last year hopefully lessons have been learnt from that defeat.

It would be some going to go to McHale and beat the AI champions (which I think gives no advantage to them, but it adds some nice dressing to the story) in a year when our own supporters thought Leitrim should/could upend us. Would be one of the sweetest Connacht titles at underage certainly.

John Gannon and Jack Connaughton should be fit enough to play some part so we should have close to a full hand to play on Sunday.
