I might be wrong here, but as far as I know there is no provision for adding on time for time wasted within injury time.

Didn't realise he did that but you can't add on time for substitutions or the time it takes to book players which is daft IMO and should be rectified sooner rather than later.

well, you say it's nonsense, but can you show me a rule?   I know that Dublin have fallen foul of that in big games over the years (the mayo semi final in 06 being a prime example).  Other counties too.

So your trying to say if the ref indicates there is 3 minutes injury time, as soon as start injury time there is a stoppage time for an injury which lasts 3 minutes that the ref will blow it up once these 3 minutes are up. Of course he will add on for the stoppage time in extra time. However there is nothing in rules to add on time for subs/bookings.

While the added time was a joke (as was the free for Dublin's second last point), we had the chance to take advantage of it and didn't protect the ball/slow down the game enough.  Took a sideline ball way too quickly and should have went back to Morgan.  That's the craft and experience that other teams have that we are lacking at the minute.

Congratulations to both teams for a great game. Well done Tyrone for a gutsy fight back but in the end the better team won.

This Dublin team certainly has balls – they are frightening finishers who never admit defeat. They remind me of the great Meath teams of the past who seemed to need a stake through the heart to finish them. The fighting spirit of this team was epitomised by the superb winning point scored by the best footballer on the field - Diarmuid Connolly. The man has ice in his veins.

I'm very disappointed at the all-too-common Sunday evening reaction of some of the supporters of the losing team – "we were robbed by the ref!" These people should take off the blinkers and they will see that there are always good reasons for both teams to fault a referee. However, I won't get into whataboutery by pointing to decisions that Dublin supporters will disagree with.

Well done Tyrone and Dublin for a great game.
