FFS I clicked on this page and thought the poor hoor had expired at the Spain match! Clicked back a page and makes some sense.

ONeill

Sam Neill was deadly in The Omen 3. Was great viewing in our house every Christmas.

Was interesting that his childhood memories were Tyrella Beach. What was wrong with the Washingbay? Pompous c**t.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Rather coincidentally for the day and week that's in it, former Argentine captain Antonio Rattin has passed away. Most famously refused to leave the pitch when sent off in the 1966 quarter-final v England. Was the first man to be sent off at Wembley and his actions eventually led to the introduction of yellow and red cards. An uncertain legacy to leave to be sure.

She was a brilliant actress. Her performances in The Field and A Time to Kill are my favourites.
Never underestimate the power of complaining

Ach no. What an actress and what a character.

Did I see her interviewed by Tommy tiernan and it was v apparent she had no time for the bullshit associated with fame and lived a quiet life?

Sad news. Great actress.

Great performances in  The Field and  My Left foot   stand out.

She was also great  in So I married an axe murderer with  Mike Myers, playing his Scottish mother.

I think she said once  her oscar was  used as a door stopper.

She attempted to take her life 32 times. Had awful personal situation despite her artistic experiences, though they likely "helped" her authenticity as an actor.

Garfield Sobers, cricket legend

Ps Dale is that a mistype or was it really 32 times? Crazy

I had to look up to confirm. Originally had typed 30...so not much better!

Yeah, she lived in a small cottage off Gray St. No fuss, just a normal Liberties auld wan.

He had a great film Hunt for the Wilderpeople that is a great one for all family.

Watched this film with the kids last night...loved it!
