Munchie

One of these shows the British Media tell you to like and it's a classic, always thought it was pure tripe.

gallsman

Ah no, each episode  was 30 minutes of pure  mayhem. Not my favourite sitcom  but  it's up there.

She had dementia  for years.  I remember watching  their canal boat show (very enjoyable actually), and she  said she  had trouble  remembering things that happened that day, but could recite  lines and lines  of Shakespeare no bother. Strange  how the mind works

Ah no. One of the funniest shows ever. On a different level to other shows at that time.

That's just, like your opinion man.

Munchie

There was no humour in it, it was just cringefest, Manuel's character was horrendous.

Milltown Row2

one of the classics of its time and for many generations after it, probably getting dated now but I suppose people find the IT crowd funny and the Inbetweeners, which I found utterly shite and cringy as f**k..

Add in the Big Bang Theory into that

Probably  two  of the best   comedies in recent years.

Although if you include Detectorists as a  "comedy" , then that tops everything.

I love it. The kids love it.

quit yo jibbajabba

Fawlty Towers was quality. Some of the Monty Python stuff was hit and miss for me but Basil and Co were excellent

Majority see it as a timeless classic than told to like it. Out of interest which shows do you find humorous?

In terms of british comedy Fawlty Towers is right up there as one of the best ever. Loved only fools and horses but my favourite was probably Yes Minister/Prime Minister. Brilliantly written and acted.

US comedies, No 1 The Big Bang Theory. Great show. I Would have watched Friends, Frasier etc back in the day and also really like Rules of Engagement.

For me the sign of a great comedy is one where you will quite happily watch it, even when you have seen it multiple times before.

That was good viewing alright. She was diagnosed with dementia 12 years ago.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Inbetweeners a bit too cringy, never really warmed to it. IT Crowd on the other hand had some good episodes, the work outing among the best.
