Minors in action V Cork now in All Ireland Final. 2pm TG4

Another AI left behind by the management.2 points down with over 4 mins on the clock and going for goals. Could they not have got the message on to take the points.

Obviously weren't at the game. The management was infront of me and from 40 minutes in were shouting at the lads to calm down.
Cork had about 8000 at that game today, that roar and momentum panicked the lads. They are young lads. Add in 3 or 4 injuries including bug meenagh who wasnt well, what can you do. 9 lads on that panel underage next year and 5 or 6 of them played yesterday which is mental for an AI final minor team

But that team couldve been beat 2-3 times throughout the campaign

They will be gutted
Cork played for 30 mins and won
Thought mgmt made too many changes v quickly and not sure any sub had an impact

What players would be most impressive out of that bunch?
Charlie Meenan looks a good prospect for the future. He's got the size. Hopefully we can bring him through.

Immense potential coming thru in Tyrone just need a senior Mgt. with the capacity and structure to harness and inspire those young fellas to the maximum.

Great to see Morgan so involved and continuing too

Quarterbackk

Paddy Tally now the most successful coach to come from Tyrone.

Can we draft him in to the setup?

Probably not, even if we had made the final it was finally Mayo's time.

Yes it was a missed opportunity but tyrone couldnt beat the ref. Dont forget officals were deciding factor in kerrys matches against Tyrone and Dublin. Thankfully it wasnt the case against mayo.

Would love to see paddy, peter donnelly or steve oneill in tyrone swt up next year

And if we didn't win the all ireland in 2027 who would you want coaching in 2028 ?

Tyrone couldn't beat what proved to be a poor Kerry team who were not at their best this year.  Referee didn't help, but that's an excuse. We didn't have our best player available most of the year so there is an issue in that and being available when it matters most . Also we had nothing on our bench - despite all the underage success. If the current set up was replaced by likes of Tally and some good coaches we have potential. Mayo have shown that there is about 8 teams that can win it.

Beat by a poor team but claim to have the makings of a good team?
If me auntie had balls springs to mind

Kerry were there for the taking this year and we couldn't do it. Blame the ref if you like.  We won 4 games all year. Two of them again Offaly & Cavan. Mayo missed a sitter to win the game v us in Omagh at the end of the game. If your best player wants to go to Australia for a month in the middle of the season and others go away on stag dos and holidays - then don't expect to be in a final. Time for change and a winning mentality.

O'Rourke Porter are a hinderance. Imagine if we had Tally Donnelly and even McGinley as management with the talent available Tyrone would have a great shot at several AllIrelands. Again on strength and conditioning look at the injuries RC DC RMcC hips and tendons all linked to S&C and muscle tone etc.
County Board need to act muscle up themselves or Tyrone will waste all the young talent who will move away .

Also great to see Conn K on team of year rte. If all had his commitment and iron determination Tyrone would be a lot better off too.

Agree with this. Our s&c hasnt been great for the past few years. Hearing mayo praise their medical and s&c team show how vital it is.

Always got the feeling something isnt right in the tyrone camp, as you said what other teams have players looking to take a month out to go traveling during the season. Soon as tyrone season was over Darragh was back playing for his club. Somethings not right there.

Even ruari decided to have an op during tyrone season so he could be back for club championships. I suspect a fall out between orourke and canavans
