So it's another Omagh CBS win at the younger age groups.

Time to split Omagh in two.

Fair play St. Pat's Maghera.

Done in the correct spirit of the Oisín Mc Grath competition.

I feel bad for the kids involved. Couldn't be as nice a feeling to win this way as it would be to win immediately after a final whistle.

Agreed.
St. Pat's cubs too, who probably genuinely thought they got the draw only to have the replay removed.
But fair play to all involved, even though I am surprised the official result is changed.
I've often thought the GAA are missing a process to correct obvious errors as big as this which effect outcomes of games - Meath/Louth springs to mind. You could even argue for Tyrone in the 95 AI Final - but that would be a step too far :)

Has any school ever done a clean sweep of dalton to macrory in the one year?

What do the rules say here?
Can the game officially be awarded to Omagh, or does there have to  be a farcical scenario of Omagh turning up for the "replay" and Maghera not fielding?

Wildweasel74

Frank Murphy of Cork would found a gap to get a replay lol.

"A decision shall be made by the Competitions Control Committee on foot of
the Hearing. The decision shall be notified to both parties.

An Objection or Counter-Objection may only be upheld on the grounds that an Infraction has been proven that renders a Party liable to the Penalty of Forfeiture, with Award of the Game to the opposing Team
or
(ii) That it is proven that a score allowed during the course of the Game was either not recorded or incorrectly recorded by the Referee and that error had affected the result of the Game."

I assume Omagh will have already objected. CCC would recount the scores as allowed in above rule and award the game to CBS.
