Casements and Dunloy both had big players unavailable so no one reading too much into a league result.

Casements definitely playing a very different brand of football this year under new management.


Agree Nil, at least half a dozen clubs in the mix. Should be an interesting few months ahead.

Its between Creggan and Portglenone for it, everyone else is playing for 3rd place

But yes, they do have serious competition, no doubt about that.

Handy draw especially at home

Best draw could of got. To be drawn against three Div.4 teams in a row and back to back home games doesn't get much better. No game is easy but should be beating Wicklow comfortably.

I wouldn't say comfortably. We'll hopefully win this but they'll think they can beat us too. The league game was tight enough but hopefully we have improved since then.

What was it the wise men said - leagues are for playing championships for winning    I still would have Cargin up there as maybe favourites for the championship. Portglenone still a lot to prove. (maybe they will prove it but they still have to). Young Doherty looks to be shooting the lights out for Portglenone.

I would say lick the hands will have Dunloy playing with a swagger as champions this year and why wouldn't they

As for the rest I can't see any team touching Creggan or portglenone although I hope I'm wrong

If Elliot is a long term injury that's a big problem for Dunloy.

Hard to know whether league form will convert to championship for those two. Not much talk about St Brigids now either.

St bridgets haven't posted any impressive results under the new management. Whats wrong with elliot ?

There's also zero chat of St Galls and Aghagallon. Both those teams will be a handful for anyone on their day.

Cargin and Creggan remain firm favourites despite all the attempts to get a rise out of Bannside.

Great draw for Antrim this weekend. Opening up nicely and finding a bit of form at the right time.

So many 50/50 games to be played in club senior cship, think most people know that at this stage.

They're not straying far from their nests based on their wee update bulletins. Having said that, can't imagine there will be a large Wicklow contingent up at the weekend now

What does that change?

35 minutes after the whistle blew for the start of the half, Antrim were 4 points up.

It's still injury time in old money and conceding 5 points in the last 5 minutes to lose by 1 is criminal.

How about with half an hour to go they were 9 points up and blew it if you have to be pedantic.
