Quote from: paddyjohn on July 18, 2025, 12:46:22 PMClubs knew this when they entered it so thats on the clubs who don't appear.

I agree it's a complete farce but what about those lads who haven't booked holidays etc on the back of the league fixtures?

Booking holidays when you're team has the potential to be at the business end of things is on the players..

Clubs agreed on these fixtures that's on them, they should be fined accordingly and be asked why they as clubs decided to go with it in the first place.. there's stupid and then there's stupid clubs who agreed and then complained

Clubs opposed it and CCC held firm saying it was a two year cycle and could ONLY be amended going forward into 2026 season unfortunately.
Denied Cargin'Portglenone and possibly St Galls entry to Division 2 with their reserve teams for same reason also

Clubs who don't field should be demoted a division. Shows complete lack of respect for the competition.

Aye good shout, that will put you gulpins closer to the top of division 1.

Last year our lads virtually went knocking doors to get a team gathered up to play the league final and the Ulster select celebrated their victory like they had won the championship.

Now Bidies can't/wont field a team!

Surely if any team in the county could always get a team it's the club with the select of Ulster!

Treble 6 Nations Fantasy Rugby champion 2008, 2011 & 2012

EOC1923

All Saints won on pens, fair play them hope they go on and win it. One negative for them, Kavin Keenan is a total comedy act. Like Mario Ballotelli on steroids

Less said the better, but with the county board backing his every move on and off the pitch he can do whatever he pleases it seems.

Great entertainment. Some great scores. Bit of handbags now and again and penalties to end it. Had worse Saturdays

Big win for Ballymena and will be laying down a marker for the championship in the final.

Bigger win for Ballymena, fair play to them. They'll miss their favourite half wit for the final though.

Well Saturday went as expected, let Ballymena away with thuggery, Mick McCann got beat round the place, John Carron red card for nothing more than Ballymena diving..........got what he wanted a Ballymena win

Sounds like Ballymena are going all out for this league title.  Have they ever won a top fight trophy of any sort?

Remember Portglenone going hard for the league a few years ago and it being a big deal for St Brigid's last year.

Though from memory Portglenone actually won the league as opposed to a lightened panel play off.

Is there a venue confirmed yet for Wednesday evening's final?
