LD have put a lot of work in on facilities and re-establishing their juvenile base, sad to see this and hopefully the work of a lone space cadet rather than anything else.

in intermediate, one group has no free round for any team and fixtures are repeated, Lisburn are down to play Sarsfields twice, same with Rasharkin and st Endas, other issues in senior and junior, as well as the hurling, email issued to clubs stating a number of concerns have been raised

Was it the county board that messed up the draw?

No real surprise teams not fulfilling the top 4 playoffs, this is the 2nd year in a row its happened - surely this will put an end to this charade.

Clubs who don't field should be demoted a division. Shows complete lack of respect for the competition.

Antrim demeaned this competition by not learning from last years farce and how it played out, not adjusting the dates away from the July break everyone takes, the date leaves an open goal for teams to pull out. Could say St Brigids are a bit cheeky pulling out considering they happily lifted the trophy last year against an extremely weakened Cargin team, however this is Antrims competition organisers fault alone. Tone deaf

It's a stupid competition. Why do we need a semi final and final in a league? Cargin won the league, move onto the championship which incidentally shouldn't start with a mini-league but this is the nonsense we deal with nowadays

Regardless of all that (and I think it's a silly addition too) Cargin were still able to field last year, showing a bit of respect to the competition - is it too much to ask the StB do the same and challenge it at the end of the year with the county board?

Clubs knew this when they entered it so thats on the clubs who don't appear.

I agree it's a complete farce but what about those lads who haven't booked holidays etc on the back of the league fixtures?

Booking holidays when you're team has the potential to be at the business end of things is on the players..

Clubs agreed on these fixtures that's on them, they should be fined accordingly and be asked why they as clubs decided to go with it in the first place.. there's stupid and then there's stupid clubs who agreed and then complained
