Ive said for a year or two now that Antrim Football is wide open, but it took this weekend to prove it.

This is emphasised by the fact that no one on here even had Rossa in the top six (or eight even).

While most of us cant look past our own clubs, Antrim football needs a strong city representation and this weekend most of the better ballers were from the city.

Many of the precieved notions and opinions on here for the last few years can be relegated to the outdated thinking sector. Theres nothing but a kick of the ball between many clubs on any given day.

Fair play to Rossa, not going to gripe about anything and instead congratulate them. Bad defeat for us but such is life

Was at the match today and similarities between it and our game with Rossa were unreal. Like us Cargin merely thought they had to turn up. Like us once Rossa got a run on them they had nothing left to give. Like us they made a lot of strange decisions and Like us the officials seemed hell bent on making sure Rossa stayed in it. Fair play to Rossa all the same.

How was the game? Did cargin start to show their age or were the older lads still their best players?

Saying it as I see it and let me be very clear, I was delighted to see Rossa win so there wasn't tears from me.

Your tears have maybe dried in a fortnight roger,  surprised you have any left given the shitshow you boys let out every year.

Shocked at the result today, Rossa had an excellent 2nd half. Cargin piss poor and look completely cooked. Never saw it coming at all, but Belfast is alive! Hopefully the Jerrys finish the job!
