It's ok for a few hours. A nice walk around it. Nothing really there, to keep you any longer.

Great spot although I imagine it'll be quiet enough in the middle of October. Fairly hopping during the Summer though.

Tedfest is actually on the big island Inis Mor. Usually last weekend in February.

Seem to remember Clare and Galway nearly going to war over this. Bring in the hundreds of years of animosity between the counties, with Clare claiming the Aran Islands and Galway arguing that Clare should be brough back into Connacht for historic and hurling reasons.
Time to take a more chill-pill approach to life.

Nice spot for a night's stay. A nice pub or two there............... will be quiet now imo after summer season.
"Full of Dublin flags" so I was told  ( by a mate who was there)in the week before the AIF due to the amount of Dubs who have married into the island.

The ship on the rocks is called The Plessy I believe.
