I wonder what salary the secretary was on that spend probably 10 seconds minimum sending those texts? 10 seconds X 6 = 1 minute. 600 texts = 100 minutes. 3600 texts = 600 minutes = 10 hours.

I'd say the HRs owe the state at least €4k. Not going to appease the IMF, but this is the sort of thing that has to be challenged now.

The shit, that this family gets up to in Kerry is quite unbelievable. I have a realtion who is very active politican in the Killarney area and the back deals and scams he tells me about would make your eyes water. But i'm sure its the same in most places. Shure it even happins in the big shmoke !!

I wonder if the same money was spent on calls to Luscious Linda from NewcastleSlappers would there be a different reaction? To me there is no difference in the sense that the phone bills were being paid for by the taxpayer and was not for normal business.

I think the very least Healy Rae should do is pay it back and that old fruit of a Da of his should explain his role in this.
