Could Court of Appeal hear it tonight or are they out of time?

This is probably just stalling unfortunately, needs to be a clear reason not to, obviously from a legal view point not the bleeding obvious point!
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Jamie is saying today's decision is being appealed tonight

Leave is supposed to be ex parte. By convention we tend to hear from all interested parties. As a result appealing a grant of leave whilst possible is very rare. So I understand that the COA will determine the issue tonight.

That said I've been wrong before already so don't listen to me.

Proof you should never listen to me

Was actually worried all day cause you're fairly sensible and normally right.

I still am surprised if I am being honest and I do a fair amount of public law work but strange things happen with these political adjacent cases. The Windsor Framework case Jim Allister etc brought was apparently the only civil case in NI where the COA granted leave itself to appeal.

That's why I always say the law is an ass. Anyone with half a brain cell can see this parade is a bad idea no matter what the law says. Lets hope it never goes ahead.

PSNI once again prove they are not fit for purpose.

"The High Court heard warnings that the PSNI had supplied false information to the Parades Commission.

After initially playing down the potential for violence in response to the parade decision, the PSNI admitted it was preparing a significant operation, with Crown Force detachments from England and Scotland drafted in to help quell nationalist protests."

Armamike

That's just, like your opinion man.

Idiots. More fool the PC for listening, an idiot would know it'll be a huge operation.

I understood the position of PSNI to be. We don't expect violence. We have no specific intel there will be violence. But we fully intend to prepare just in case.

Is there an absolute simpleton in charge of making that decision? Christ the night

Mourne Red

Elections in 6 months - Big scandal to divide folks and get the orange/green vote - Vote Happens, parties get what they want - Do f**k all - Repeat.

Happy March isn't happening but let's not pretend that no matter what happened today both main parties couldn't care as long it helped them which it has done for the two of them.

tonto1888

Residents hopeful the appeal won't be successful. Not many leaving tho as there is a lack of trust that the march won't be forced down the road

The Boy Wonder

Bryson is finding out that two can play his game. Pressure now on Chief Constable for misleading Parades Commission.
