They are not going to get everything their way anymore. Surely they can see that. Long term this might cause even more heat on them and actually result in some more parades being rejected.
If this is the plan then SF need to start taking action. The PC has shown itself as being not fit for purpose.

I think this is the ABOD crew, don't know if they're one and the same as the OO, but the start location is Ballynafeigh Orange hall.

This is a concerted effort to open old wounds.

So it seems.
The site of all sorts of people enjoying the Fleadh has spooked them.
Get the tribal drums beating and get all those fleadh loving lundies back in the fold.

Peter Robinson made sure he was out of town. He basically said "we let them have THEIR day".

Plenty of trad musicos in Belfast who are "PUL".

1.6million went to Fleadh, I would say a fair number of tourists would be interesting to see a breakdown.

However, the Apprentice Boys in Derry itself are relatively pragmatic, recognising their situation. They could be undone by extremists in Belfast.

So let me get this right. Based on Drumcree getting the go ahead (legally) - all the others can technically march? Or will they be subject to independent decisions?

Going forward , I think we'll see a  new parades protocol  put in place , where  no parades will go ahead if X%  of the route is nationalist.

This debacle has opened up a can of worms , and  if Bwyson, Skeletor and the OO have their  way , every lodge in the land will be applying  for a weekly parade.

They have done serious damage to the OO. They just don't realise  it yet.

I don't agree with such a simple rule. West of the Bann there are predominantly nationalists villages were the local OO have a harmless march or two, they should not be prevented from doing so.
This is quite different from Portadown, where most of the town is unionist but the OO insist of marching the one part of town that is not. So I would add a principle about alternatives.

I agree , but  if they take the piss applying for more and more contentious parades , something will have to  be put in place.

They applied to parade last year as well. I think they all apply to parade even though everyone knows the outcome. Do they not march through the Holylands instead?

There was an un-notified parade on the Shankill yesterday

gallsman

They have applied every year ffs!

See this is what needs a full review.

How much this is costing worth knowing. Its similar to vexacious litigation.

"Nationalists" give far too much leeway on this crap

SaffronSports

Simple rule, remove police and let them march in the areas they still want to march in after that.
