XBOX 360 Elite Help

Experts, I have a bit of a problem.
I want to hook my XBOX 360 Elite (250GB) up to a flat screen monitor...

My monitor is a 21" Widescreen LCD that I use for my PC (no scart input).
The screen has a DVI-D Input that normally links straight to my HDMI out socket on my video card on my PC.

I researched a little but I think the instructions I was getting are confused...
Also if I do link up the two, am I correct in assuming that the audio system would be another problem?

Has anyone successfully done it?

Failed to mention the the monitor has both a VGA out and DVI-D out...

Think I may also need an audio Jack that will take the L/R and convert them to one so I can plug it into my speakers.

Then I just need a toilet or commode beside my bed and im set

Ok I've done this two ways before although not on an elite. The first and easiest way is to get an xbox toVGA lead available for around a tenner from Game etc like the one in your link. This comes with with phono leads that can then be connect to your audio source either directly or via a headphone jack to phono lead (and a pair of phono couplers).

The alternative involves the purchase of both a hdmi to dvi convertor and a specialist xbox to hdmi connector that can create timing difficulties. Depending on your monitor this may give you a slightly better picture but I doubt you'd ever notice
