Watched the new Peter Kay dvd there, absolutely brilliant.
As you are renowned in these parts for having no sense of humour did someone explain the jokes to you?

I find lots of things funny, including you and some of the other wankers that are around these parts.
Which one of you bitches wants to dance?

Went to see Henning Vein in an intimate gig in the Cathedral Quarter. Really superb show, nice guy too mingling and chatting to everyone before the show

Would really love to see Rich Hall as I think he is fantastic.

Seen Rich Hall about 3 times. He's brilliant. Definitely worth going to see.

I first seen Rich Hall on don't feed the gondolas would say he's a good Stand-up Comedian.

What does people here make of the other Irish Comedians not mentioned yet.. Brendan Grace,Jason Byrne,Karl Spain,PJ Gallagher,Pat Shortt,Dave McSavage,Jon Kenny & Niall Tóibín
Brendan Grace - Appeals to the older crowd, find some of his stuff quite funny...other bits cringe worthy
Jason Byrne - Annoying bollox.....
Karl Spain - Shite, only so many look at me I'm a fat man jokes that can be done.
Dave McSavage - Happened to see him outside St Stephens green, ripping the piss out of people.Hilarious, not every ones type of humour as he toes the line a good bit.
Jon Kenny/Patt Shortt -D'unbelievables were class, shite since they've gone solo.

I'm tempted to get a couple of tickets for Pat Short's solo show in Vicar St...any thoughts??? Is he really that bad on his own??

Kevin Bridges is great. I saw Dave Gorman last year in Liverpool and was really impressed.

Best I have seen live is Billy Connolly, he was absolutely brilliant, I saw him in I think 1989 in Boston.

My favorite of all time is the deadly Dave Allen, absolute master of his craft and may the rest in peace.
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

The Iceman

Sinbad is fantastic. The last tour I seen (on dvd) was all about marriage. He doesnt curse, he isn't crude and doesn't try to shock. He is just funny.
