The unfortunate thing is  that as they try to regain vots from the DUP the UUP seem to be going more extreme, which if anything will turn more against them.  Elliott is a political zombie and will be gone at the next round of elections.

BTW ziggy, I saw that ye cheeky fecker!

That mindset is phenomenal.
the level of biggotry is just staggering, how anyone would want that man to represent them is beyond me.

Thats the problem, with those remarks more, not less will want him to represent them. Theres a lot of bigots about, most of them in the unionist community, as ironic as that statement may sound, its true. Thats also where most racist incidents in the north are coming from, as a bye the bye.

Anyone following the Doug (Army) Beattie - Jon (RUC) Burrows tete-a-tete?

Both narcissistic morons, with very high opinions of themselves.

Great to see.

Burrows is horrendous.

Beattie isn't great either but not quite as bad.

Hereiam

Burrows is outa his depth and his interview on GMU yesterday was a car crash.
Beattie had potential but the day he stood with that p***k Bryson for a photo op then he lost all credibility.

Burrows arrogance is dripping out of him, he was skewered by Chris Buckler was up there with one of the biggest car crashes in a while.

He won't see it that way though.

You kind of get the feeling with Beattie that there is maybe a dark side he's hiding a bit.

Burrows originally tried to present himself as more moderate but the mask slipped.

Beattie a former serving soldier who lauds that whole world. I'd say there's definitely a dark side there and the pillow is wet from memories of actions taken I'd say....

I want to use  ;D  but it's more   :(

I can't figure out yet whether Burrows is a moderate or an extremist. Choosing Kyle Savage as a candidate would suggest moderate but if Tom Elliott is supporting him that would suggest extreme
Careful now

Either way, if they keep up their current antics, then they could be headed for nearly complete oblivion at next year's Assembly election.

I definitely don't think Burrows is a moderate.

Burrows like all Unionist leaders cannot and will not accept that the RUC were complicit in supporting loyalist paramilitaries at any level even if the evidence is staring them in the face.

He's more of the same, taking the moral high ground and the troubles were the fault of the IRA and those militant taigs wanting to ruin our wee country.
