Why are Meath 12/1  ???

'Cos we have no manager.

I think he means why are they not 25/1 or something like that. Kildare are 20s.

I was just trying to be smart, AZ and anticipating the restoration of the established order among Leinster counties next year.

Oh I see. Good point though. What price *are* Offaly next year?

Mayo 20/1
Galway 20/1
Sligo 66/1
Roscommon 200/1

Wrote off again i like it  :)

So Sligo are 3 times more likely to win Sam than us next year  :o
Davy's given us a dream to cling to
We're going to bring home the SAM

When are the league fixtures out? can't say i'm looking forward to division 4 football when not so long ago we were an established Division 1 team but it must be done....

At leat we have a team manager  :D
Not to mention the Connacht U16, U21 and Senior Trophies  8) 8)
As for Div 4 ...we must do our duty and it's an extra game on the season ticket  :-\

Why are Meath 12/1  ???

Westmeath are 11/10 to win the Maiden Hurdle(3-05) at Ballinrobe the day with Paul Carberry up.
Corkonian is 11/8 to win the other Maiden Hurdle at 3-35 with Ruby Walsh's assistance.

I thought Paul Carberry was on an Aer Lingus flight from Malaga once? I thought that would rule him out of ever riding for Ryanair Gigginstown House.

Corkonian with Kildare assistance. Sounds like the Cork team of the late eighties/early nineties.
did kildare people back Cork at the time?  genuine question btw.

Not at all. Larry was rumoured to be interested in the Kildare job a few years back and I doubt he had one supporter within the county.

Give me Brian Murphy anyday over Larry and Shay.
There's Seán Brady going in, what dya think Seán?

We did a dry run for the homecoming in Castlebar this night next year, last night. Went well.

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.
