How much is capello on a year?

6 million or something like that... not 100%
Aye about 6 million. Money well spent. To be fair he only has a shower of shite to work with.

Apparently the FA believes the manager should be paid in line with the top players. ::) otherwise they mightn't "respect" him

Which one of you bitches wants to dance?

Capt Pat

This looks like being a very boring game. The Dutch attacking hasn't been very good in this tournament, they need Robben back. I think Hamann may have been right when he suggested Snider wasn't a playmaker and Giles and Dunphy said he was. The Dutch need a playmaker.

ONeill

I know Japan are playing to their strengths but it's awful hard to watch. Holland play 56 passes and then lump it to RVP who loses it and Japan give it back.

Japan are playing to their strengths. Their strengths are not in defense, defending set pieces or their physicality.
Japan are playing with discipline and high work rate. Holland actually look clueless in how to adjust.

Great hit.

Keeper is a wooden one.

Good strike alright - think the keeper won't want to look at it again though

A strange goalkeeping mistake to make. Diving past the ball, it shoukd have been saved. We will blame the ball.

How old do you reckon the people who applied the numbers on the Dutch players jerseys were?  7 or 8?

That said, great Bue Peter use of black insulating tape.

It looked like the keeper had it well covered, did the ball shift slightly?

Holland looked knackered, rarely have I seen Kuyt so quiet except at the end when he won the ball in midfield to set up an attack.
