So if USA can match or better England's result next time out then the 3 lions can at best finish 2nd as USA have scored two more goals?

Engerland v Germany 1st round knockout? Wouldn't that be a sweet way for the lads to be sent home  :D

Sure it would be a relief to be beaten by Sligo. All the pressure would be off then and we could go and lose to Westmeath in style.

There is something about the England build up and then the fall. And the hatred directed at the manager. Every single time. The pressure on the players is unbelievable. But they can't stop themselves. A few months in Longford following the footballers would do them the world of good. The World cup is a clusterfuck the match of the Leinster championship . But Longford are never beaten by the weight of expectation, are they ?

yes! Engerland would learn lots as we prepare for a first round visit to Aughrim or Portlaoise! I could take Rooney off to Moydow or to a league match between The Connollys and Colmcille to show him solid committment. Solid!

If the final 2 games in this group are draws then England go out. Is that correct?

How the fcuk does that work?

No idea. I assume it would leave goal difference equal but apart from that I haven't a clue?
