North Korean lad crying like mad there before kick off, is it because he's as proud as punch for representing his country, or the though of 40 lashes if brazil destroy them

I was thinking that myself, but apparently he was eligible to play for Japan and South Korea but he chose North Korea. He must be a committed red!

North Korea doing ok so far.  Would love to see them take a point away from this.

maybe if were 2-2 or so, but i honestly won't be watching more of this shite - this is fast becoming the worst tournament ever, the f**king horns, the balloon they play with and the negativity of virtually every team so far.

DrinkingHarp

question about advancing further in the Cup.

If you have all 4 teams in a group with the same points, say 4, because they all tied each other with the same scores of 0-0, who advances?

France anyway and whomever else Sepp Blather fancies

ONeill

There's definitely a levelling out in world soccer. The best teams (hopefully bar Spain) are not that great with a reluctance to dribble in case of losing possession whilst the minnows are defensively sound in general.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

they used to draw straws - but i get the feeling they use the fifa rankings nowadays.

but the last european championship was a brilliant tournament, this is the polar opposite.

Puke football.

The standard of free kicks, corners and long range shooting in this World Cup has been a disgrace for highly paid professional footballers.  Some of these matches would shame the Irish League or League of Ireland.

I'm convinced the ball is a factor. There's no way the standard could be so consistently poor in all the matches and among all the players.
The germans had no trouble with the ball.

Some Brazil goal.
Which one of you bitches wants to dance?

gerry

was nearly going to say  with North Korea's defense, no wonder no one invaded.

God bless the hills of Dooish, be they heather-clad or lea,

actually given the way fifa fuucked them over with the goalkeeper, i'd like north korea to get something out of this game - although, i reckon that the fans at home will see them manage a courageous draw anyway ;)

Square Ball

does Dunga remind anyone else of the chuckle brothers?

Oh and I wish clive Tisley would stop saying Kack kaaa, he sounds like a bird FFS
