Had to laugh at that myself! The cheek of him to be deeming Uraguay v South Korea an easy draw for England. It wasnt so long ago that they thought the group would be handy.. English will never learn..

But hold on! Jesus was pretty shit at the start - a somewhat basic performance at the Marriage of Caanan - water to wine stunt, then healing the sick etc, but look what he went on achieve! World domination based on a rising from the dead performance. Perhaps England will do the same - shit against USA and Algeria - but England might, like Jesus, do their stuff. They are crap. I watched the algeria match with a few mates. After about 60 minutes every time england got an offensive move going they shit a brick while i laughed. There was no way they are going to score.

I do expect them to win tomorrow however - depending on their team. They'll not get much further though.

They are suspect at right back, central defense, in goals, in central midfield, on the wings and have one top class off form striker. Basically Ashley Cole is good, Rooney on form is good, and Gerrard in the right position is good. Lampard and Terry are found wanting at national level. Joe Cole mat be ok. They also can't retain possession. So far they have been almost as bad a team as there is in the tournament. There would only be north korea ,greece and honduras below them.

Not only have they not got the players they have got the most unrealistic set of expectations from any team placed on them and they know they'll get tortured, individually,by the whole country if they make a mistake. This pressure sits on every one of them and you can see it.

With the right 11 out they can beat an average slovenia team. However that depends on the right 11.

England have the toughest task tomorrow. They have to win their game against Slovenia who only need a draw, giving an advantage to Slovenia. Algeria and Usa both need a win so that makes it easier for one of them. So we still have to see if they get through this group.
