Really enjoyed the ski-cross absolute mad, some of those falls, one of the Canadian girls made a hames of a jump and must have been the better part of 30 foot in the air, she knew she was screwed and fell an awful clatter, think she was ok though.

Didn't stay up for the semi's or final, who won it?

Big game in the auld Hockey tonight as Canada take on Russia. If the Russkies win, the Canucks will be devastated. This is the game most people were picking for the final, so for it to be in the Quarters is a big upset.

Ha ha, there was the briefest of brief comments about the Aussie 2-(wo)man bob team's final position and not a single image of them on Channel 9, "the official broadcaster" over here.  The coverage has been the usual jingoistic commercial tripe where they haven't shut up about their two golds.  And then the coup-de-grace last night...on showing the overall medal table they monumentally fcuked up by showing Australia having won four golds at this games, instead of four in all time. 

They have a swimmer conducting the on-scene interviews with athletes too.  Talking about scraping the barrel.
