You must be joking. Judes are the only home grown team in the tournament. Boden close behind. The rest of the big clubs are a disgrace quite frankly. Thankfully a change went through in the internal transfer system which will make it nearly impossible for big clubs to cherry pick smaller clubs players within the county. However it is impossible to stop the lucrative foreign star market. Already clubs are lining up players as we were saying yesterday.

I'm aware of that but it adds to the talent in Dublin clubs. I'm not suggesting it's good for Dublin or for the GAA.

County Finals
It is another busy day on the club front with seven county football finals and four hurling finals down for decision.

The AIB provincial club football championship also gets underway with Sligo's Tourlestrane taking on Castlerea of Roscommon in Connacht and Cavan Gaels playing host to a fancied St. Gall's of Antrim in an intriguing Ulster opener.
There are four county football finals taking place in Leinster. Ballyboden St. Enda's square up to local rivals St. Jude's in the Dublin decider, Moorefield meet St. Laurence's in Kildare, Rathvilly and Old Leighlin go head-to-head in Carlow, while Arles-Kilcruise will attempt to knock Portlaoise off their perch in Laois.

There are two massive county finals in Ulster where Dromore and Ardboe will do battle for Tyrone's O'Neill Cup, while city rivals Pearse Og and Armagh Harps clash in Armagh.

Over in the West, Corofin and Mountbellew/Moylough will replay their Galway final after they drew 0-9 apiece a fortnight ago.

In hurling, Drom & Inch and Thurles Sarsfields square off in Tipperary, Adare and Na Piarsaigh meet in Limerick, Tullamore are the opponents for Kilcormac/Killoughey in Offaly, while Leighton Glynn's Glenealy face Carnew Emmets in the Wicklow decider.

St Laurances hammered Moorefield 1-13 to 6 pts the O'Neill and Lawlor brothers were immense and Mossie Doyle and my motm Ivor Keatley gave them a fantastic platform from midfield. The Moores were very flat and in the end the Larries hunger and ruthlessness prevailed. A 1st ever Kildare Senior Title for Laurances.

It's a pity the Leinster Club is on next week as Laurances will probably spend the week in the pub  :)

Kerry County Semi Finals today in Tralee

South Kerry 1-14, Austin Stacks 2-09
A goal from a penalty scored by Kieran Donaghy in the dying minutes of the AIB Senior County Championship Semi Final at Austin Stack Park Tralee was not enough to overcome South Kerry's lead in a tight hard game in which Ronan Hussey played a pivotal role for South Kerry. Mikey Collins scored Austin Stacks' goal in the first half.

Dr Crokes 1-09, Feale Rangers 0-07
It was level at half time in the second County Championship semi-final. Feale Rangers lost Paul Galvin after five minutes due to a shoulder injury. It was close for most of the second half but a goal from David Moloney gave Dr. Crokes the edge

Does that put Dr Crokes into the Munster series or if SOuth Kerry with the county title does the winner of the "club" championship represent Kerry in Munster. (this has probably been raised before but was just wondering)
